We stayed for two nights at the end of our honeymoon that involved six accommodations throughout Spain and Morocco. Of the six, it was the best in terms of service, space, architecture (the views alone), and sustainable amenities. After staying in some cramped and/or odd layouts, our room at the Hotel Sardinero had the perfect open floor plan, a large bathroom and "flow" to relax and refresh before catching our international flight to the States. I also liked that they are eco-friendly and provide quality toiletries----they don't cut corners. Interestingly, the lid of one of my SB cups went missing. Admittedly, it LOOKS disposable----just like the plastic lid of a paper cup----but it's not. I was sure the staff tossed had it, which I couldn't fault them for, but it couldn't hurt to ask at the front desk. The staff at the front desk (Galo?) did take it very seriously and took a picture of the one I have. Still, I wasn't very hopeful. Besides, we've had them for years and they cost all of 4 dollars.... Well what was my pleasant surprise when they had recovered the lid and it was waiting for me at the front desk the next morning! Now that's service!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Many great sites to visit are a maximum 30 mins walk away. I had no trouble walking to Palacio Real, Museo del Prado and Retiro park. There were a couple of interesting smaller museums nearby as well. There are many, many good food and drink options right out front which seemed pretty popular with the locals. My driver from the airport actually raved about what a good location it was.

Location is a bit further out from the main city but we chose it because we preferred a more quiet location. Very close to a train station to take into the city centre. The front staff Lara was really friendly and helped us with our questions of what to do and eat in Madrid. The bed and room was a pretty good size for the two of us and most importantly comfortable. I'd recommend asking for the "cervical" pillow which doubles up as a bolster.

It we came from Barcelona to spend 3 days in Madrid. The hotel was very charming . Near to the center just 15 mim by walk you see in street Serrano and all the best cools bars and restaurants around Velazquez. The rooms were very very clean, the gym was super clean and everything was just on point. The stuff amazing, the men that is on the entrance is so kind and professional. We will be back in July!

We were very comfortable at the hotel and in the neighborhood. Taxis were readily available and affordable to get us to main tourist attractions etc. The view was nice of the street and buildings below. There are only 3 or 4 rooms on this top (6th) floor. We did not use the terrace just below us which was very attractive and mostly empty because it was cold outside and no beverages etc in sight.
